New Online Book Club for Adults

The Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Online Book Club launched last week and it has been very well received. “Over 220 community members have signed up so far” said Librarian Rubina Markosyan. “During this extended period of physical distancing, we are excited to create new ways of bringing the community together. The book is always free to download and we have an unlimited number of copies, so please join and check it out for yourself!”

By taking part in this online community, readers can connect with their fellow Glendalians through the enjoyment of reading and discussing great books. The book club members will read a new book every two to three months, which allows readers plenty of time to finish each book. The first book club title is The Burglar by bestselling author Thomas Perry. The Burglar follows young professional burglar Elle Stowell as her unconventional way of making a living is disrupted through the discovery of a heinous triple homicide.

Upcoming book club titles will include topics related to lifelong learning, social issues, literature, psychology, as well as selections suggested by book club members. Sign up today!
