The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek: Read from January 7–March 4, 2021

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture is excited to announce the fourth book of the GLAC Online Book Club for adults—The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson.  In this gripping New York Times bestselling novel, a last-of-her-kind outcast and member of the Pack Horse Library Project braves the hardships of Kentucky's Great Depression, and hostile community discrimination, to bring the near-magical perspectives of books to her neighbors. Inspired by the true and historical Kentucky Pack Horse library service, this is a story of fierce strength and one woman's belief in the power of books to transport readers anywhere.

Read and discuss this enthralling novel from January 7 through March 4, 2021.
