AAMHA is a non-profit organization whose vision and mission is to advocate for mental health in the Armenian community in the United States and abroad. AAMHA's goals are to be strong advocates of mental health and the desire to advance mental health knowledge and practice in the Armenian community. AAMHA is active in charitable giving, supporting mental health initiatives and services. In addition to monthly presentations on various mental health related topics for professionals in the field and the public at-large, AAMHA also holds an annual conference, bringing together researchers and clinicians from the United States, Armenia, and elsewhere in the world to share ideas, research, and innovations in the field of mental health related to the Armenian community.

The Community Resource Center for Aging at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital
The Community Resource Center for Aging at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is a FREE community service for older adults in the community looking to improve their quality of life. Through consultation with one of our Aging Resource Specialists, we can help you find community-based services and support systems that support the aging process.

Didi Hirsch
At Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, we provide quality mental health services within a community mental health setting. Our services are offered for clients beginning at birth and throughout the entire lifespan. We provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, case management, and psychiatric services for families in need. Additionally, we will be opening up a Wellness Center for Transitional Age Youth this upcoming Summer.
The Department of Public Social Services (DPSS)
The Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) will be onsite to provide CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and General Relief enrollment services, as well as educate the community with general information about other programs administered by our department.

GCC Garfield Campus Continuing & Community Education offers free noncredit classes and certificate programs for adults ages 18 and over including ESL, Computer and Business courses, GED/HiSET, accounting, student service support and more. Glendale Senior Services
The City of Glendale’s Community Services & Parks Department offers many opportunities for seniors to participate in programs and services through our Recreation and Senior Services Sections. Our Community Centers has drop-in programming and activities for recreation and leisure. The Elderly Nutrition Program provides meals to seniors 60 years and older seven days per week out of the Adult Recreation Center. When seniors are no longer able to leave their homes, the Home Delivered Meals Program offers weekly meal delivery to seniors who are homebound. In addition, the Supportive Services Program provides intensive case management services to seniors needing information/referral, benefits enrollment, case planning and purchase of services.

Verdugo Jobs Center
The Verdugo Jobs Center is a one-stop career center serving the cities of Burbank, Glendale, and La Cañada Flintridge. We provide our region’s diverse workforce with career counseling, job search assistance, professional development and training opportunities, job fairs, workshops, and more, free of charge. Our career services are suited to a wide variety of individuals, including dislocated workers, military veterans, ex-offenders, high-school dropouts, migrant and seasonal farmworkers, non-English speaking, people with disabilities, public assistance recipients, senior workers, youth, and much more.
In addition, the Verdugo Jobs Center houses a team of Business Resource Specialists ready and able to provide a comprehensive array of services to assist our region’s businesses with finding skilled workers, layoff transitions, and staying competitive.
Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN)
The first-ever community-driven support network serving Veterans and their families in the U.S., the Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN), connects Veterans, regardless of discharge status, and their family members to community resources. This assistance is provided to address what is preventing Veterans from success in civilian employment, such as transportation, health care, mental health, education and employment. This new program is offered by JVS SoCal’s Veteran Services department.
West Coast University
Occupational therapy students will provide handouts for healthier living, and will lead a coping strategy jar craft. Fill this jar with different coping strategies and wellness activities that you can use to help maintain a routine that fosters your well-being. Available while supplies last.
